Leave Sydney and travel north towards the Hunter Valley. Allow approximately two hours for the direct journey, plus additional time for any stops along the way.
Break the journey around the Hawkesbury and explore one of the region's oyster or pearl experiences before continuing north towards Wine Country.
Check in at Hunter Valley Resort + Farm and settle into your accommodation amongst the vineyards.

Hunter Valley
Start the day above Wine Country with an optional hot air balloon experience and take in the landscape of Pokolbin and the surrounding Hunter Valley.
Return to the Farm and discover our onsite vineyard and estate-grown Hunter Valley wines.
Head out and discover more of Pokolbin and the surrounding Hunter Valley, from cellar doors and local produce to gardens, shopping and other Wine Country attractions.
Return to the Farm and relax, or choose from onsite experiences including Segway tours, horse riding, archery, axe throwing, laser target shooting, grape stomping and more.
Enjoy another relaxed dinner at the Farm and make the most of your final evening in Hunter Valley Wine Country.
Port Stephens
Start the morning with breakfast before checking out and heading east towards Port Stephens.
Allow around an hour for the drive from the Hunter Valley to Port Stephens.
Spend the morning discovering Port Stephens wildlife. Choose from experiences such as a wildlife park or a dolphin-watching cruise on the waters of Port Stephens.
Enjoy lunch in Port Stephens and leave time for another coastal attraction or marine experience before beginning the drive back to Sydney.
Finish your Coast & Country journey with the drive south to Sydney.
