Leave Sydney and travel north towards Port Stephens, enjoying the changing scenery as the city gives way to the coast and countryside.
Arrive around the Anna Bay area and discover the spectacular coastal dunes of Stockton Beach.
Optional local experiences can include sandboarding and 4WD tours across the dunes.
Continue to Nelson Bay for lunch and time to enjoy the relaxed coastal atmosphere of Port Stephens.
Head out onto the waters of Port Stephens on an optional dolphin-watching cruise before continuing inland towards the Hunter Valley.
Travel from Port Stephens to Hunter Valley Wine Country and check in at Hunter Valley Resort + Farm.
Settle into your accommodation amongst the vineyards and enjoy dinner at the Farm.
Hunter Valley
Start your day with breakfast before exploring Hunter Valley Wine Country.
Discover the onsite vineyard and learn more about the estate-grown wines produced from grapes grown here at the Farm in Pokolbin.
Visit the Wine Theatre and discover the journey from grape to bottle while learning more about Australian wine and the Hunter Valley.
Spend part of the day discovering more of Wine Country, including cellar doors, local produce, gardens and other attractions around Pokolbin.
There is plenty to do without getting back in the car. Choose from Segway tours, horse riding, carriage rides, archery, axe throwing, laser target shooting, grape stomping and other onsite experiences.
Enjoy your second night at Hunter Valley Resort + Farm with dinner in Pokolbin.
Blue Mountains
Enjoy breakfast at the Farm before beginning the scenic drive from the Hunter Valley towards the Blue Mountains.
Travel through the countryside via Putty Road and Bells Line of Road towards the Blue Mountains.
Allow plenty of time for the journey. Depending on your route and interests, possible stops include Colo River, Bilpin, Mount Tomah, Mount Wilson, Mount Victoria and Blackheath.
Arrive in the Blue Mountains and settle in for your final night around Leura or Katoomba.

Visit the famous Three Sisters and take in the dramatic views across the Jamison Valley.
